Italian lessons in Trapani, Sicily

Who our students are

We work from level A1 to B2: from your first sentences to holding a conversation and reading a text on your own.

How we teach

First the language you need immediately — introducing yourself, asking, understanding the answer — then grammar, which comes in when there is something to fix. Speaking, listening and writing alternate, using real situations: a job interview, a school meeting, the post office, the market.

If your first language is far from Italian, we start from pronunciation and sentence structure, taking nothing for granted.

Your teacher

Helga teaches Italian as a second language at an international language school in Trapani, where she is junior head of the Italian L2 department and works with foreign students every day, at levels A1 to B2.

She holds a master's degree in interpreting and translation from a Roman university and a bachelor's degree in languages from the University of Palermo, and she speaks English, French and Spanish at C1 level: if Italian is not enough yet, you will still be understood.

In person or online

Lessons take place at Via Spalti 42, Trapani, Monday to Friday from 3 pm to 6 pm, or online from anywhere, one to one or in a small group of three.

The first day is free. Write to us in English: we answer in English.

Frequently asked questions

Do you teach Italian to foreigners in Trapani?

Yes. We teach Italian as a second language, levels A1 to B2, at our centre in Via Spalti 42 or online, one to one or in small groups of three.

I do not speak Italian at all. Can I still start?

Yes. Your teacher speaks English, French and Spanish at C1 level, so you will always be able to ask and understand.

How much does a lesson cost?

25 € per hour one to one, or 15 € per person in a group of three. The first day is free.

Can I take lessons online from another country?

Yes. Online lessons work anywhere, with the same teacher and the same material used at the centre.

Do you prepare for Italian language certificates?

Tell us which certificate and which level you need and we will plan the course around it.

Where exactly are you?

Via Spalti 42, 91100 Trapani, Sicily. We are open Monday to Friday, from 3 pm to 6 pm.
